Digital Quartermaster ("the app," "we," "us") is built privacy-first. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version

Digital Quartermaster performs all image recognition on your device. Your camera feed and photos are processed locally and are never uploaded to us or any third party. We do not operate accounts, advertising, or analytics that identify you.

Information we do not collect

• We do not collect, store, or transmit your photos or camera images. Recognition runs entirely on-device.
• We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or contacts.
• We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.
• We do not use third-party advertising networks.

Information stored on your device

Any gear lists, checklists, and items you create are stored locally on your device (and, if you enable it, synced through your own private Apple iCloud account, which we cannot access). You can delete this data at any time by removing items in the app or deleting the app.

Permissions

The app requests access to your camera solely to recognize items in real time on your device. It does not access your photo library, location, contacts, or microphone unless a feature you explicitly use requires it.

Children's privacy

Digital Quartermaster is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
